The sun was shining and Bruin was in the backyard soaking it all up...
The gate was open and he was nowhere to be found...
Until he came to his senses and decided to sit at the front door watching us frantically look for him...
Oh hey, Bruin! You changed your mind?
You decided that you don't want to runaway?
You're too scared of the big outside world?
You want to be let in?
Sure, just as soon as I get my heart beating again!
We are joining the Monday Mischief Blog Hop, hosted by Alfie's Blog, My Brown Newfies & Snoopy's Dog Blog.
It's all too much effort, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA - that's just too cute... but I can only imagine how you felt in those moments!
ReplyDeleteDante and Ziva did that to me once!
ReplyDeleteHubby accidentally left out back gate open, I went out back called the dogs...no one came, walked around the side saw the open gate and panicked, only to discover both of them sitting on the front porch looking through the tiny window clearly begging to be let back inside. LoL whew!! Scary!!
Hate it when that happens!
ReplyDeleteI love that photo of Bruin at the front door, and I totally understand how freaked out you must have been. Almost as freaked out as Bruin. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad nothing bad happened! I had that happen to me too. A worker left the door open and I couldn't find Mr. N anywhere... turns out he was right behind me.
ReplyDeleteWow! That was scary! We're so glad he made it home safely!
ReplyDeleteGlad he was safe. Phod would do the same sort of thing!
ReplyDeleteBOL! Bilbo is the same way...you could leave the door wide open and he wouldn't go any further than the front porch...It's a wild and crazy scary world out there!!
ReplyDeleteSome dogs just recognize a good thing when they are living it. Funny post.
