As you can see, Miley looks like a hot mess! Soon all those Golden shaggy curls and pesky flyaways will be a distant winter memory.

Booking Miley's appointment was quite easy! All I did was go online to choose the salon, date and the groomer I wanted. Once the appointment was set, I received an email with the details and the day before our appointment I received a reminder text.
Appointment Reminders
- Before your appointment, be sure you have proof of your pet's rabies vaccination.
- Rabies vaccinations need to be administered 48 hours prior to service.
- Your pet must be older than 8 weeks to receive any service.
- For the safety of your pet and the associates, you cannot go behind the double doors to the Salon area.
I have to admit it took some convincing to get Miley through the salon door but once we met Sam, the groomer she seemed to be more at ease.
After getting Miley checked in, Sam checked her over for any knots or areas of concern and she answered any questions I had.
I loved how she took the time to make Miley feel comfortable while we discussed the grooming services she would be doing. Leaving Miley at the salon, I had complete confidence in Sam and knew Miley was in great hands.
PetSmart Groomers are Dedicated to Pets
- All PetSmart Salon associates acquire annual safety certification and take additional course-work where they learn about dog anatomy, signs of stress and common pet medical conditions.
- Groomers also receive an addition 400 hours hands-on training.
- All Salons offer a "Look Great Guarantee". If you are not happy with your pet's service, they will do whatever it takes to make it right or it's free.
Sam really had her work cutout for her, just check out those butt feathers! lol
I was happy to see that after Miley had her bath, she was brought right to the grooming table where Sam blow-dried her until she was completely dry.
Miley received the Dog Bath & Haircut with FURminator® package which included:
- Low-Shed Shampoo
- De-Shedding Solution
- Hair Cut
- Up to 20 minutes of brushing with the FURminator tool
- Ear Cleaning
- Teeth Brushing and Breath Freshener
- Nail Trim
I knew Miley needed some sprucing up but after seeing the magic that Sam performed on her I couldn't believe her transformation!
Miley's appointment took almost 3 hours, Sam really outdid herself! I was so impressed that after all that work, Sam went over every detail of her groom with me. She explained exactly what she did and suggested some great products that she used on Miley that I could purchase right there at PetSmart.
I love how the groomers fill out a Pawgress Report of the services they provided with comments and suggestions.
If you are looking for a groomer to give your pet a Spring Makeover, I would strongly suggest to book an appointment at your local PetSmart Grooming Salon. They have many different packages to choose from that are tailored to fit your dog's needs.
We promise you won't be disappointed!

They did a wonderful job on Miley!
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful! Love that bow. <3
ReplyDeleteThanks! I loved the bows too but unfortunately they don't last on her very long! lol
DeleteWe do our own grooming and bathing, it comes with the territory when you show dogs. But we have used the Petsmart groomers for nail trims for one our collies, who shall remain nameless, as she won't let us cut her nails. (It is truly an Epic battle) but the Petsmart groomers always get the job done!
ReplyDeleteYes, they do get the job done! Maggie is not a fan of getting her nails done, either!
DeleteWow ! Amazing ! What a wonderful job ! She was already beautiful, and now she's gorgeous ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you!
DeleteShe looks so good! They did an awesome job on her! I love her bow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteI love Miley's makeover! My two labs both need a little "spring cleaning" makeover and I do not envy the groomer who gets tasked with getting after that undercoat. Never heard the term "butt feathers" but I love it! Piper, my pit mix, basically gets a wipe down with some grooming wipes because she barely has any fur ;-)
ReplyDeleteThey really tackled that undercoat and Butt feathers which were taking on a life of their own! lol
DeleteWow what a great review and they did a really good job. Miley always looks golden gorgeous but even better post make-over. How often do you get rabies shots?
ReplyDeleteThank you! She gets her rabies every three years. They just want to make sure if your dog is due for their shot it needs 48 hours prior of the appointment.
DeleteGreat makeover and I love that you get a report too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! The Pawgress Report was a fun surprise!
DeleteMiley you look beautiful! PetSmart did a fabulous job on your hair and I love the bows! Hubba Hubba! Your pal, Bentley
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks for stopping by Bentley!
DeleteLovely - I have never thought of using them but am going to check out the costs as my groomer charges 75 dollars for Layla
ReplyDeleteThey have many different packages and add ons, I would definitely check them out! :)
DeleteLooking fabulous, Miley, and the ear bows are the best touch ever! I'll bet you smell pretty wonderful, too!
ReplyDeleteOh Yes, she smelled amazing! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI like that the groomers there receive an addt'l 400 hours of training. Great post and appreciated seeing what's highlighted in these packages.
ReplyDeleteYes, they have many more packages to choose from and add ons to fit your dogs needs! Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteYou look great Miley! Love how fluffy you are after being groomed! :)
ReplyDeleteMiley was always a beautiful girl, but I think this hair cut is really stunning! She looks really healthy and happy. The bow is a cute addition too! PetSmart does a great job on their grooming.
ReplyDelete-Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
She look so sweet with the bows. I like how you pointed out all the changes made in the diagram!
