Belle has been injured, and just for the record I had NOTHING to do with it.
I knew this free roaming privilege of hers would one day get her into trouble. Not sure what actually happened but she came in this morning limping terribly, so off to the vets she went and low and behold she has a broken paw!!!
The vet thinks she may have gotten caught in a fence while running away from something. I know if I wasn't stuck in this ridiculous crate all night I would have heard her crying and rescued her, ok maybe some thumbs would have come in handy but none the less I now have to keep my distance from her in case I "accidentally" step on her or play too rough.
She is on pain meds and gets to sleep on mom's bed all day long, another privilege I don't have. The word around the house is that Belle is no longer allowed outside, this could definitely work to my advantage!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear Belle injured her foot. Those outdoor kitties have a rough life I think. I hope her paw heals okay. To bad you can't get on the bed too.

I think you're getting a raw deal Miley. I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it though. A broken paw sounds pretty painful... at least you don't have one of those.
