Personally I don't mind playing out in the rain, especially when you find some muddy spots to roll around in and make mud angels. Mom on the other hand wishes I would learn to wipe my paws or better yet not go out at all...the nerve of her!!!
To make her happy I've been keeping myself busy playing with all my new toys...whats left of them anyways (oops). In my own defense I have to say that some of these toys just don't stand up to my rigorous chewing and shaking.
So today I've decided to give a paw's up to a couple of my favorite toys that have passed my test. In order to pass my test the toy has to withstand continuous chewing, tugging, shaking and of course keep me entertained for a good amount of time.
The first one is the Floatie Flappy:
Their slogan on the package says "We make 'em for dogs to shake 'em" and boy can I shake this toy!!! A little word of advice, this toy should be played with outside or in a large open area, I almost shook mine right through the TV. So far it has stood up to my chewing except for the itty bitty hole I accidentally made in it, hope mom doesn't notice. She did say it wasn't a chew toy, I guess I should have listened. The best thing about this toy is that it floats so your family can toss it into the water or pool and you can go in after it. Or in my case you can just wait for it to make it's way closer to the edge, grab it and play keep away!! No matter how you play with this toy, you can be sure you'll have hours of fun!!!
My next toy is the "Flying Squirrel"Need I say more!!! Seriously, this toy is amazing!!! It's paws are raised, so if you have trouble picking up a Frisbee then you'll love this. Even better the paws glow in the dark so you can play fetch night or day. It 's made for the water in case you want to play drown the squirrel. I never get tired of watching it spin round and round in the air. So for all those times that squirrel taunted you in YOUR yard while you watched hopelessly from your window, this is pay back....real or not!!!
As much as I love my new toys, nothing beats the Kong. I mean who couldn't love a toy that gives treats to you!? If only I could get my family to find the one with the rope!!!
Disclaimer: I just wanted to share my favorite toys. All thoughts and opinions are my own, I was not compensated for this post.

Miley is still young--give her time! LOL Sadly, we have not found an Augie-proof toy yet. Flappy? Ripped. Flying squirrel? Ripped. Kong? Tore the top clean off! All of the toys are put away and only come out for supervised play. No fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are the kind of toys we need! Thanks for the review. :)
