He is the world famous #1 dog blogger and he has generously offered to giveaway his book AND a Dogtronics toy to one lucky blogger!!!! This book is BOL book that we can all relate to, canines and humans. Here is a little information about BO and his new book from his blog..
The first non-fiction memoir written by a dog is a laugh out loud look into the lives of one American family from a truly unique perspective—the family dog, Bo—the #1 doggie blogger, a.k.a. the Tucker Max of dogs.
Bo Hoefinger is not your everyday, run-of-the-mill author; he’s a mixed-breed shelter dog with an attitude. His popular blog, BoKnowsOnline receives nearly 100,000 page views per month, and his unique voice brings this memoir to life.
Join this incorrigible canine as he welcomes us into his life, complete with his wacky ‘parents’, a constipated feline housemate, and chipmunk warfare. The only tears you will shed will be tears of laughter.
Bad to the Bone focuses on how he—and two seemingly normal people—wreak havoc on an unsuspecting world while creating a lifelong bond in the process. All the stories are true and will leave dog lovers laughing out loud.
Featuring humorous sidebars, lists, and text boxes from Bo’s diary, Bad to the Bone offers a touching and humorous narrative about the intensely loving and rich relationship between owner and dog.

ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! It sure is a good book to read n have. Not many funny stories ... but here's one that my mom can't forget. Had a house party n we asked all the guest to take off their shoes (leave it by the door) to preserve our pretty wood floors. Well, I had a great idea with those shoes ... I grabbed several of them n place in on my bed n sad to say I chew a couple of them. It really kept me busy n let my parents enjoy n entertain the guests. You get the picture what happened next when they guests decide to go home. Woof! Woof! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWhat a furry interesting book!
ReplyDeleteI guess the most humourous thing about me is how I 'bury ' my Milkbones and then have Mom look fur them before I eat them -
BUT I only do that if it is light out - should Mom give me a biskhuit before sun up, I eat it straightaway!

On the way down to drop Toby of for IFT, we had his 2 sisters with us. One being "cassie" who looked just like him. The whole way down I kept getting Cassie & him mixed up!

Wow, this book looks great! Looks like a lot of fun and I can't wait to check out the website too. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteA funny story about Grady: just this past Saturday, we went to the park down the road for a romp. There were several other dogs there running around so I took him off the leash so he could play. He was running around, pretending to be as athletic as the labs (he's a Mastiff) leaping off the bank into the river. When he tried to follow them back up to higher ground, he only made it about 3/4 of the way up. He dug his claws into the ground, eyes bugging out of his head, as he slowly slid back down the bank, disappearing from view. If only I'd had my camera....
Pawsome giveaway! Thank you fur doing this.
ReplyDeleteSamantha - funny thing about me is probably me burying my head underwater to search for rocks. Or mom calls herself the dog-fighter(as in bull-fighter) because when she holds up a towel and wave in front of me, I like to "attack" the towel. She said she'll have to make a video of it.
June - a funny story of me would be stealing dad's steak while he tried to get the charcoal grill going. By the time the charcoal grill was ready, the steak was in my tummy. LOL!
Oh yay! I love to chew *ahem* read books!!
ReplyDeleteHere's my dangerous, yet funny story.
The day the lady I own brought me home from a county pound, she had a decently long drive, about 45 minutes. To take this drive you have to get on a major expressway, lots of big scary mack trucks and people who love to speed by you! I never had much experience in a car, so as I was sitting in the back trying to see if maybe she throws old cheeseburger wrappers back there, I see a big scary mack truck pass us and I get scared. I knew the lady would take care of me, so I attempted to jump up front and threw her car into reverse on the expressway! Thank goodness she's okay smart and caught it and put it back into drive. Since then, my name has been Mack.
Woof!

I guess our funniest (one of many, mind you) story is when I brought Sam to obedience. He failed it twice, just so you know. The first night we showed up it was like I had a rather large fish on the end of my leash - he was flopping and fighting and howling and carrying on so... I couldn't fill out the paperwork. Finally, a very drunk guy who was hanging out in the park came up and asked if I needed someone to hold my dog. I was so exasperated I said yes! Please! So I'm filling out the paperwork, and start to hear all this laughing. I turn around and the guy is flat on the ground. He stands up, and Sam pulls him the other way and knocks him down. This went on for a good couple of rounds before I was done with my paperwork. You would never know that the extremely good dog I have now was such a menace in his puppy days!
