Another Day at the Pool…

It started with a nice gentle plunge into the water by Maggie

and me taking a nice gentle step into the pool.

Maggie likes to splash and as you know I hate getting my head wet…

so I decided to be a poor sport get out ,when Maggie thought it was a good idea to take a bite out of my neck!!! See the abuse I go through, so glad mom had her camera for this one!

So I turned around and gave her my meanest tongue!!!

And she gave it right back to me with her “ I’ve got dad all to myself “ tongue.  Whatever, I am not jealous that dad spends most of his time in the pool with you, giving you massages, puppy talk and letting you rest on the boogie board!

I am perfectly happy doing the doggie paddle all by myself!!!

    That water looks so refreshing it almost makes me rethink my decision not to ever go swimming. Of course it is super fun when there is a wee human in the pool with you, right?

    Love your photos! We had two Goldens and lost both. It's taken me 12 years to get another dog and my daughter talked us into two Maltese...! Very different from my golden Buddies, but still very fun. Love the swimming pics! Mine used to do that too. Your blog really was a good start to my day today!
