How a Dog's Nose Saved the Day

That's right, my nose saved the day instead of causing mischief.

Mom noticed I was sniffing the house rather intently...

I knew exactly what I was sniffing...

I just needed a way to get up in there...

Dad decided to lend me his thumbs and this happened...

Just as I suspected, we had a renter living in our siding, a very busy renter. I was secretly hoping it was Mr. Chippy.

I just needed a closer sniff...

Well, as I was getting my sniff on guess what jumped out and almost leaped to his death...

Yup, mom's worst fears came true.

Meet Mr. Mouse

No worries, Dad helped the little critter and sent him packing...

Poor Miley, never saw the little guy...

She continues to stand guard waiting for him to come out..

But we all know, when there's one, there are others!

We are joining the Monday Mischief Blog Hop! Thank you to  Alfie's Blog, My Brown Newfies & Snoopy's Dog Blog for hosting.

  1. Our dogs discovered a rabbit yesterday. All of a sudden we heard a commotion and tons of excited barking. Even Sydney lent her voice to the mix. Guests? Deer? Accident out on the road?

Nope, one of the baby rabbits all grown up stopped by to say "hey."

  16. Well, we need you to come here and help figure out what is going on in our front lawn and landscape beds. None of the "professionals" are agreeing - are they moles or voles???? Dad says figure it out fast, they are ruining the lawn!!!

    Good work, Miley.
