As huge Boston sports fans we can't wait to catch a glimpse of Mike Napoli of the Boston Red Sox, former Bruin's player Shawn Thornton, former Patriot's player Jarvis Green and Kelyn Rowe of the New England Revolution strolling down the catwalk with an adoptable dog.
This event will take place at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston and is hosted by animal welfare group Audrey's Rescue Angels and Durty Harry's Doggie Boutique & Spa with 100% of the profits to benefit the PAWS New England, Lucky Lab Rescue, Last Hope K9 Rescue and the MSPCA.
The night will include a silent auction featuring some amazing items such as, sports memorabilia, 4 star hotel overnights, dog treats/ products and yoga sessions just to name a few.

Audrey’s Rescue Angels and Durty Harry’s Host First Annual One-of-a-Kind Fashion Show Fundraising Event Benefitting Boston Animal Shelters
WHAT: Audrey’s Rescue Angels, local nonprofit animal welfare group, and Durty Harry’s Doggie Boutique and Spa will host their first fundraising event, Rescue the Runway: Featuring Boston’s Finest, to raise rescue awareness and funds for local pets in need on Sunday, August 17 at the Colonnade Hotel.
The event will be a one-of-a-kind fashion show featuring more than twenty Boston notables walking down the runway with an adoptable pet. All runway pets will be available for adoption. Among the “models” local fan favorite Boston Red Sox, Mike Napoli, former New England Patriots Jarvis Green, legendary news anchors Susan Wornick and Janet Wu, Celtics Sideline Reporter Abby Chin, and heroic members of the Boston Police, among others.
WHY: Each year, thousands of animals are rescued by local animal shelters. Rescue the Runway: Featuring Boston’s Finest will raise awareness and funds in a new, exciting and fun way. The event will bring together animal supporters and aims to have an impact on the local animal community. Funds will be raised through a silent auction with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting PAWS New England, Last Hope K9 Rescue, Lucky Lab Rescue, and the MSPCA.
MORE: Event is open to the public. General admission doors open at 6:00 p.m. to the Colonnade’s Grand Ballroom, where guests will be treated to a light fare and beverages before the runway show start at 7:15 p.m. During this time event goers will be able to contribute to a silent auction offering an array of items such as four star hotel overnights, sports memorabilia, incredible treat and dog product offerings, private yoga sessions, among others. General Admission tickets are $125.
