You see, I've lost something and I need help finding it.
It's black.
It's cute as a button. (according to mom)
It's my nose and it has mysteriously disappeared.
This is what it used to look like...
I've had it since I was a little pup...
And now it's gone...
Miley says that's what I get for sticking my nose where it doesn't belong...
Mom says I probably lost it in the snow somewhere, but I can't seem to find it...
Thanks!
We are joining the Monday Mischief Blog Hop, hosted by Alfie's Blog, My Brown Newfies & Snoopy's Dog Blog for hosting.
Yep, you got snow nose alright! We first noticed it with the beagle I got when I was 10 and since we live in Winterpeg, Manisnowba we get lots of snow and cold! I have had 6 dogs since and all of them lose their nose pigment each winter. Chester is a chocolate lab with liver features so it is not as prominent as it is on a black nose.
ReplyDeleteThe Winter steals your nose?!? Oh my...that is just terrible! I sure hope you can find it before Spring!
ReplyDeleteOz
Snow nose - oh no! I hope it comes back in the spring.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww! I bet you'll find your nose in no time!
ReplyDeleteCole says maybe it's your big boy nose. Be careful of sun on it...LeeAnna at not afraid of color
ReplyDeleteOmigoodness! This explains so much! My own dog's nose has turned pink.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how some of their noses change so drastically in color? I expect that with fur, but... Cute pics!
ReplyDeleteOMG your puppy picture!
ReplyDeleteIf that's snow nose, you just might find it when the snow melts! I don't know exactly how that works....I have to remember to watch Sheba's this year to see if it turns back to black or not.

Dory lost her black nose when she got a bit older too...but we think that pink nose is pretty cute too!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

OMD that is a bad case of snow nose. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hope the colour changes soon. Either way, you are cute!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's so funny because that is what happened to our Chance! Black nose since birth and then at about 3 or 4 years old, it turned pink. Is this what a snow nose is???
ReplyDeleteChance's nose never turned back. It's still pink.
DeleteWe didn't even have snow here and some of Mr. N's friends have snow nose!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if someone took it?
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We will keep our eye out for it...but it might just be with our Lab Shadows nose...in the past!

Wow! I have never heard of snow nose or seen it in any of the (many) pups I know! How interesting!!
ReplyDeleteLightning lost his too and so did Dakota. Phantom is the only Sibe we have had who has kept a black nose. Maybe you could try using a black magic marker:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
We've been wondering the same thing at our house -- It must be a crime wave! Someone needs to sniff out the thief, and bring those cute "coal noses' back! :o)
ReplyDeleteThat looks just like MY nose! It's pink on the end too! It's been like that my whole life, though.
ReplyDeleteEegad snow nose! I've encountered pink nosies before but never knew it had anything to do with the snow. We have one black nose, one pink nose in this house but they've always been that way :)
ReplyDeleteI could look at those happy pictures all day--so sweet!
Cute pics. And such a cute black nose! My sister's dog's nose went from black to pink - but we don't have snow here, so it definitely wasn't "snow nose." Is that really a thing? I never heard of that.
ReplyDeleteLooks like that nose is up to mischief. This definitely fits the Mischief Monday category.
ReplyDeleteI giggled at this, very cute.
ReplyDeleteWe have the very same problem here with LadyBug's nose!! Maybe we will have to try the Magic Marker!! BOL!
ReplyDeleteIf you find it let me know, Harley's missing the same exact thing!
ReplyDeleteWe did not know that you could lose those things, see we lost our snouts a long time ago.
