I have a friend with a golden and the only way to get him to swim is to take his tennis ball and bring it into the pool. Then he will follow it until he can grab it. Great aqua size for him and for us as we try to get him to stay in swim a bit longer.
Sounds like your golden likes to swim too. My dogs seem to think water will do to them what it did to the witch in the Wizard of Oz.
I think maybe the ball needs a life jacket? I wanted to see the Golden life guard with the rescued ball.
