Foxwoods' Two Trees Inn helped celebrate Walktober by hosting a pet-friendly hike through the stunning Mashantucket Pequot Reservation which Foxwoods calls home. This beautiful hike of the Pequot Trails are right in the back of Two Trees Inn.

We first started out on the trail to Lantern Hill Pond which was about a 1.3 mile walk...
The trail had clearly marked paw prints so it was quite easy to follow...
This is such a beautiful trail that is suitable for all ages...The scenery was breathtaking...
Next we started up to the 491 ft summit of Lantern Hill which is comprised of milky white quartz...
Stopping to add to the Cairn...
This trail got very narrow at times with loose rocks but Miley did fantastic...
After about an hour, we made it to the top and what a view it was...
Making our way down, we took our time and let Miley do what she loves best - exploring...
It was a perfect day to hike and what better way to do it than with a group of dog lovers...
Thank you!
We would like to thank Foxwoods Resort Casino and Two Trees Inn for sponsoring our stay and making Miley's first hotel stay an enjoyable one. We can't wait to come back!
We would also like to thank Two Trees Inn and The Last Green Valley for hosting our fun hike in celebration of Walktober. We had a great time and met some wonderful people who love dogs and the outdoors as much as we do. We can't wait to do it again!
