Put those two things together along with a 2 yr old golden and this is what you get.
Not once, but twice.
Bruin decided he was going to do a little escavating in the yard...
Using his mouth...
If I can't see mom perhaps she can't see me?
A golden's job is never complete...
Until their paws and undercarriage are muddy...
It's a good thing he's cute!!!
We are joining the Monday Mischief Blog Hop, hosted by Alfie's Blog, My Brown Newfies & Snoopy's Dog Blog.
Scout and Zoey are doing this right now. They have the perfect situation. My boyfriend put new soil down on 2 acres of our property, burying a bunch of fallen apples. Now the puppies get to sniff around and dig up apples. They don't eat them, just dig them up. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's dry now, but the rain returns on Thursday. Yikes.
Oh, that is too funny! Why do they always think the best time to dig is when the dirt is actually wet, yucky mud?!?
ReplyDeleteare you working on the world tunnel too? pawsome! I will start my new tunnel tomorrow... my mom destroyed the work of a whole week with her shovel ...uuuuh :o(
ReplyDeleteoh my you are right! Good thing he IS cute! ;)
ReplyDeleteDakotasDen
LOL caught red pawed!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! How funny! And it had to happen on a Monday!
ReplyDeleteha ha - fortunately, Penny hasn't discovered the joys of digging in the mud... YET! She prefers to mow the lawn with her mouth and shake her head all around, sending grass clippings flying!
ReplyDeleteI've always said there are three basic dog seasons: Summer, Winter and Mud (which comes twice a year in the human seasons Fall and Spring.)

If he were brown or black you might not have noticed. Poor golden baby.
ReplyDeleteOMD, he's SO cute - no, you just can't get mad! That first pic - bleck! You can see all the mud in his little teeth. So icky. Dogs are nutty sometimes! :)
ReplyDeleteyep really cute... lucky him.... my phy. therapist's dog went with him to the new house, and when Jon's back was turned, the dog jumped in the frog pond and was coated in muck. ewwww. Luckily he didn't catch a frog. LeeAnna and Cole
ReplyDeleteOhhh that's some muddy fun!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Mud and Goldens seem to go together. Pierre is busy rolling in our chopped up leaves so he can bring tiny pieces of the outside in the house. He thinks it gives the home a more "lived in" look! BOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he's sorry, right? Maybe not. A dog's work is never done!
ReplyDeleteHard to stay mad when they are that cute, right?
ReplyDeleteJax did this yesterday morning and Harley decided to do it in the afternoon. I'll be so happy to see the sun again...
ReplyDeleteMajor bath time right? This is about the time when Mr. N starts bringing outdoors inside.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! I like that if I can't see mom she can't see me :) What a mess. But such sweetness it's hard to be mad. Well, after everything is cleaned up, haha
ReplyDeleteSometimes digging has a price . . . in this case maybe a bath! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteBOL.....Oh dude, we hope you don't end up in the bath tub!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
