My grooming routine with the Goldens usually consists of daily brushing, weekly de-shedding and monthly nail clipping. So let's get started! The key to cutting your dog's nails at home is having a good quality pair of clippers that make a quick, clean cut and that is just what these GoPets clippers do.
Nail Clippers
- Made with high quality 3.5mm stainless steel that will stay sharp for years.
- Designed and stress tested for thousands of smooth, quick and sharp cuts.
- Non-slip and ergonomic handle gives great leverage to make a clean cut.
I loved these clippers! They were definitely strong and sharp enough to take on the Goldens large nails with a clean cut each time.
The GoPets Large Nail Clippers are on SALE and available for purchase on Amazon.com for $11.99
Slicker Brush
- Single push button retracts the bristles to easily remove loose hair.
- Comfortable non-slip silicone gel filled handle.
- High bristle density and large brush surface.
The GoPets Slicker Brush is on SALE and available for purchase on Amazon.com for $17.99
Deshedding Tool
- 4 inch long curved comb.
- One push, automatic fur ejector.
- replaceable blade head.
- Works on all sizes and hair types for both dogs and cats.
- Reduces shedding by up to 95% with a 15 minute weekly session.
This is the perfect tool to help eliminate all those hairball-tumble weeds rolling around your house!
This is our FAVORITE tool!
If you have a dog with a double coat, the Deshedding tool is a must-have!
The large blade effectively de-sheds the Goldens by removing the shedding undercoat without damaging their topcoat, which is exactly what you want in a comb.
I use this comb weekly on the Goldens and it really does help to keep the shedding to a minimum.
If there is one tool that I couldn't live without, it would be this one!
The GoPets Deshedding Tool is on SALE and available for purchase on Amazon.com for $24.99.

We use a different deshedding tool to remove Oz's undercoat but sometimes it seems that it pulls his top coat too, which I don't really like. I would love to give this deshedder a try and compare how it works with the current one we are using.
ReplyDeleteWe have their dog and cat nail trimmers and really like them a lot. We use a different tool for stripping our furs.
ReplyDeleteWith four dogs (one with slightly longer fur) and three cats (one being a Maine Coon), it's been virtually impossible to "keep up" with the shedding. My nail clippers are getting worn out, too, so I really could use this set of grooming tools.
ReplyDeleteDespite having all short-haired dogs, you'd be surprised at the amount of shedding and pet hair we have going on. Manage it? I'm still trying to figure out how... lol

ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to win because my little Elle Mae, sheds a lot! She is a Mini Pin, and never in a million years would I think that a little short haired dog could shed so much! You can't bathe them too often because it dries out their skin, so this would definitely be great to win for her. Also the nail clippers would be AWESOME too! She hates to have her nails clipped, we have the older type of nail clippers for dogs, and she has a fit!

ReplyDeleteThose grooming tools look great. I may try the clippers as I have been dreading trimming Kilo's nails. He sheds a bit but he gets patted so much and brushed with a soft brush so he doesn't seem to need more. I could have used the other tools on my previous gorgeous super shedding girls.
