Our good friend and mentor the late Professor Braydee Spiker used to make that face. It's really a snarl face, but she learned that her humans thought it was smiling. So she presented it whenever they came home from work, along with lots of tail wagging and happy jumping around, and all was good.
Well that's not a happy face!
