  2. I'm going with snarl: hard eye and ears are way back and down. Hard to tell if the lips are pulled way back, but if not then maybe a smile. :)

  3. Our good friend and mentor the late Professor Braydee Spiker used to make that face. It's really a snarl face, but she learned that her humans thought it was smiling. So she presented it whenever they came home from work, along with lots of tail wagging and happy jumping around, and all was good.

  5. For some of the sweetest dogs on earth, you goldens sure can look scary sometimes! Our Sheba is good at it as well!
