Healthy Eating is a Family Affair with the Dogs

Maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle is my goal as a mom of two girls and three Golden Retrievers. Setting up healthy eating habits early is key and the best way to do this is by example and that is something I strive to do every day.

Now that my girls are older it's so important for them to be involved in taking care of the dogs and this includes what we give them for treats and meals. We include our dogs into everything we do as a family and that also involves mealtime.

Besides exercise and mental health, diet is the biggest contributor to their wellbeing. Teaching the girls which whole foods are safe for dogs is a great way for them to bond.
